Three years ago, the genre-defying artists Kanta Horio and Contact Gonzo brought a clash of physicality, intelligence, and humor to a collaborative performance at Social Kitchen. They now return to square off again. In addition to his own artistic activities, Kanta Horio works as an electronics engineer for the concerts and exhibitions of several other artists. Contact Gonzo has been invited to performances and exhibitions in cities around the world as well as Japan, and completed a stage art project with the photographer Takashi Honma in December 2013. Horio and Gonzo are also both representing Asia as artists at “Media/Art Kitchen,” an art festival currently being held in cities across the continent.
