This exhibition featuring materials from the Iwate Board of Education’s archives lets visitors travel back to the Tohoku of 10,000 years ago to explore Jomon culture through unique and breathtakingly beautiful pottery, figurines, accessories, and more. Osaka is taking part in Tohoku excavations and research conducted along with post-earthquake recovery efforts.
