Daimyo Hideyoshi Toyotomi and his wife, Nene, became cultural leaders of the Momoyama era (1583-1602) following Toyotomi’s unification of Japan in the Sengoku era. This exhibition introduces legendary artifacts from Kodaiji Temple that convey the culture of this lively period in Japanese history.
