The works of Shinseisaku Prize-winning painter Nobuyoshi Sakai blur the line between abstract and concrete, overlapping translucent and colorful visual imagery with compositions of distinctive forms. Rich in symbolism, Sakai’s works instill the viewer with a sense of harmony. Landscapes, still lifes, and other works of varied sizes fitting the theme “A Concert of Seven Colors” are on display.
