A performing arts piece that aims to deconstruct the structure of theater and its unspoken assumptions. Akumanoshirushi is a unique artist collective, led by Noriyuki Kiguchi. Their new theater piece “Mon Père, Giacometti” is a story about a father and his son - played by Kiguchi and his own father, adding another dimension to the mixture of fiction and reality. Offering more than a simple autobiographical aspect, is it an absurd comedy or a cynical tragedy?
