Letters form words, which allow us to experience the ideas and philosophies of wise people, going beyond the current age to freely unravel what our ancestors have written and said. In these works, Maya Max painted letters from the verses of the Buddha’s words recorded in “The Words of Truth” and holy scriptures. These lines form both letters and figures central to the paintings.
