While observing beautiful rainbow-colored shards of ancient glass, the artist considered the coexistence of both beauty and negative connotations in their chemical deterioration. She began creating the works displayed here while referencing books written on glass from a chemical perspective, inspired by the idea that the glass familiar to us now will shine in colors of the rainbow colors in a thousand years.
