Presenting video installations by Ciara Scanlan and Matthew Nevin, two artists invited from Ireland for the Kyoto Art Center Artist-In-Residence Program. For these works, Scanlan and Nevin filmed themselves, gaining a modest sort of fame. Determined to fulfill their desires, they promoted themselves on social media. In this contemporary age of narcissism, we continue to change with our lifestyles every day. These performative video installations create a device for achieving human communication and fame through social media, TV, radio, and YouTube.
