Impressive work that captures motifs such as buildings or animals in an original style, using a technique of layering to create an impression of emitting light. This exhibition focuses on her iconic work based on buildings and cityscapes. The popular animal series will be on show and available for purchase, along with original rosettes, T-shirts, badges, and postcard sets.
Mayumi Shimoda has been involved in projects and exhibitions across Asia, and her work has featured in a collaborative apparel project. This is her first solo show in Kansai.
