Portrayals of Spring: Masterpieces and Discoveries from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa Eras
Hoshino Art Gallery
This event has ended.
The theme of this exhibition is “spring.” While human beings occupy themselves with ephemeral matters, nature uses its great, unlimited power to move all creation, bestowing endless blessings upon the earth. Artists portray this in their works. Spring is nature’s greatest season of blessings, and artists pour their souls into depicting the source of all this beauty appearing in the world. This exhibition presents a few of the spring-inspired works artists have bequeathed the world.
