The Daigoji is a temple of esoteric Buddhism located in the Yamashina area of Kyoto. Approximately 70,000 ancient documents and sacred texts telling of the temple’s history have been designated as National Treasures. This exhibition introduces the history and art of Daigoji from the Heian era through modern times.
