Both children and adults can enjoy a fresh look at the world of sumo wrestling at this exhibition featuring sumo-related art, wrestlers’ belts, referees’ costumes, and other items that reveal the sport’s close ties with Shinto rituals and traditional Japanese arts. Previous Osaka Sumo exhibitions held in 2011 and 2013 were met with wide acclaim.
