The people that appear in Yasufumi Konishi’s melancholy work often have an expression that is tinged with loneliness or anxiety. With the support of the artist space “Takumi no Mura” in Kawakami-Mura, Nara, Yasufumi Konishi’s full range from his early paintings and his prize-winning works, to his last known piece, “The Family by the Window,” is on show.
Artists in residence at “Takumi no Mura” artist atelier and gallery will also be exhibiting their works.
