This event has ended.

Specializing in oil painting and Japanese painting, Nobuya Houki and Tokuro Kojima explore forms of expression within abstract art. In order to convey the process leading up to their present expressions, the work of both artists is introduced in the style of a mini retrospective.
The title “Cracking the Code” translates to “decoding a code.” Abstract art is regarded as one of these “codes”, and this exhibition is an opportunity to reconsider paintings by deciphering and decoding the components that make up these paintings.
