Presenting woodblock prints and clothing by Mayumi Higashimoto inspired by her sister Yukari’s sea-themed story “The Sheep and the Shells”. These works portray the sisters’ shared memories of the sea, fictional seas imagined based on the story, and the ways in which Mayumi and Yukari are both similar and different as sisters. This is their first joint exhibition at Gallery Yolcha, which they hope visitors will enjoy like a relaxed day at the beach.
