Kason Sugioka’s works were featured in the “Twenty Contemporary Calligraphers” exhibition from 1986–2000, a period that saw the development and maturity of his own unique style. While greatly inspired by other major figures in the calligraphy world, Sugioka was able to freely demonstrate a solid foundation and a diversity of styles in his own work. This exhibition introduces several works that appeared in the “Twenty Contemporary Calligraphers” exhibition.
