Core-forming is an ancient glass-making technique that began some 3,500 years ago in Mesopotamia. Iwao Matsushima is a self-taught core-forming glassware artist and researcher who is reviving the practice and has been invited to glass schools in Europe and America and asked to manage the collections of museums. His works are on display.
