The night used to be dark. Now, the streets are still lit up even after the sun goes down. Our eyes fixed on our mobile phones and computers, we are exposed to artificial light regardless of whether it’s day or night. Boundaries become blurred in this world, and it can be hard for us to get our footing in it. Do our intentions really sink in with us during these dizzyingly busy days that leave us no time to catch our breath? These works are attempts to hold on to various aspects of our continually fading senses of self.
