For a long time, “water” and its colors have inspired artists all over the world. Various interpretations of water, such as ponds, rivers, and seas, appear in innumerable artworks.
This exhibition shows a diverse representation of “swaying” water from museum collections, from Claude Monet’s Water Lilies series, Paul Signac`s Venice to ceramics with waterside scenery, stoneware containers by Shoji Hamada and Bernard Leach.

Suitable for Elementary school children.
