This talk event sponsored by the Nara Art Program welcomes contemporary artist Takumi Kato, who presents an opportunity to re-examine the lifestyles and activities of contemporary artists. Kato, who currently resides in Nara, has been an artist-in-residence in England, Singapore, and the Czech Republic in recent years, in addition to working as a curator. At this talk Kato will discuss the significance and enjoyment of searching out creative places overseas and living and working there. There will also be time for an interactive discussion with the artist. (In Japanese)
