The Kotori-kai (little bird association) is made up of writer “Koharu” (Yuko Esumi), writer and high school teacher “Tsubakiya” (Ryoko Yamada), and illustrator Hiromi Tsuji. The Kotori-kai’s purpose is to learn more about Kyoto by studying its history, visiting its beautiful sites, eating its delicious food, and enjoying its charm. This exhibition presents their findings during three years of activity.
