Born in Tokyo in 1973, Toshihito Kawase was praised for his genius while studying at Tokyo University of the Arts and has collected various awards through his career includding the 2008 Tenshin Ibaraki Award. In this exhibition he captures motifs of the everyday, with the classical techniques of nihonga.
