Born in 1957 to a family of Karatsu ware masters and graduating from the sculpture department of Musashino Art University Taroemon Nakazato took on the same path as his father and grandfather before him, becoming the 14th generation of ceramics master. His contribution to Japanese traditional craft is celebrated here in a collection of 100 urns, vases and tea bowls revealing the vitality of his art.
