Tracing the 2,500-year journey of Buddhism from its birthplace in India across Asia and to Japan, this exhibition is divided into easy-to-understand sections on “Asian Buddhism” and “Japanese Buddhism.” Through an array of images of the Buddha and sacred texts from many regions and alphabets translated into several languages, it eloquently expands visitors’ awareness of Buddhism and the world.
