The 9th Ceramic Arts Awards is based on a general poll of public votes taken from visitors to the exhibition. Nominations for the “Ceramist who Represents the Times” have been received from art museums, galleries, and critics from all over the country. The top 6 nominated artists exhibit their work in the Paramita Museum.
Voting will be open during the exhibition for 24 days from June.26 and a grand prize will be awarded depending on the result of the votes from the general public.

Nominated Artists: Tetsuya Ishiyama, Ryotaro Kato, Takuo Nakamura, Takashi Hinoda, Masayasu　Mitsuke, and Seiko Wakasugi.
