Building up casein tempera upon the surfaces of his paintings Jun Koshino constructs form and here comes to express a relation between space and time. In the shift of color that occurs in this process a scene comes to appear upon its support, which while being a flat surface suggests a depth of field. In this exhibition he presents a work consisting of 8 white rectangles which may be framed through Malevich’s concepts of suprematism in a world without a subject.
