This event has ended.

All love is unrequited at first. This bittersweet experience becomes an important if painful memory, from the heart-racing confession to the denial or return of one’s affections. Three young graphic designers who have or are currently experiencing unrequited love created this exhibition for everyone who is having or will have this universal experience.

Shown in Tokyo last autumn, “Unrequited Love” arrives in Kyoto packing even more of an emotional punch. Works on the theme of girls’ unrequited love will be shown at Prinz Gallery from February 10th through March 2nd and works inspired by boys’ unrequited love will be displayed at Black Bird White Bird Gallery, only a ten-minute walk from Prinz, from February 19th through March 2nd. These graphics are expressions of each artist’s perspectives and memories.
