This event has ended.

A Tokyo and Osaka version of a touring exhibition that was held at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris last year. Targeting the cities of Paris and Tokyo, 12 concepts developed by young architects in Japan and France to understand contemporary cities are introduced through diverse methodologies. This is also accompanied by an introduction to contemporary city planning in Paris combined with insights into the next generation of architects in France. Through layers of dialogue, this exhibition provokes questions on how Tokyo may hand down its postwar city space and realize city development towards the Olympics by considering the example of Paris that aggressively explores transformation into the future while inheriting a rich historical legacy.

Exhibiting Artists: Jo Nagasaka, Yuko Nagayama, Ryuji Nakamura, La Ville Rayée, and Thomas Raynaud.
