Since giving birth to her child Suzuki’s life has been completely transformed and this transformation is apparent in her work. As if observing small cells through a microscope, Suzuki’s work is delicately drawn with meticulous lines and circles on large canvases. Overwhelmingly detailed works, bring a sense of sublime light and seem to shift to new depths just as her own world shifts. This exhibition includes a four piece work entitled “Kujira (whale)” as well as 20 other new pieces.
