This event has ended.

Atsuko Suzuki’s multilayered woodblock prints are contemporary ukiyoe capturing everyday scenes with unique artistic expression. This exhibition, her second at Oto Gallery in two years, was introduced on NHK’s “Sunday Art Museum” program. It displays more than 20 new woodblock prints and glass pictures featured at the popular Setouchi City Museum of Art exhibition, “The Other Side of the Sky,” which presented works based on the poetry of Misuzu Kaneko. These works, which each took Suzuki roughly a year and a half to complete, reveal the lyrical world of Misuzu Kaneko in rich color.
