Fumiko Kaneko’s renovated traditional Japanese “Machiya” townhouse can be found down an alley: a novel space that combines designer Fumiko Kaneko’s contemporary style and the traditional work of an established five generation building company in Gion.
There will be an extract reading by Fumiko Kaneko of Japanese literature “The Tale of Genji”, set in the Gojo area in Kyoto.
