As a vast number of stenciling patterns were discovered in a former textile dyeing building in Hidakacho, Toyooka city in 2007, many other discoveries came to emerge around the neighborhood. In the second in a series of exhibitions drawing on this tradition and history the long link between Toyooka and Kyoto is highlighted through the textile trade and the stencils used in the design of Kyoto yuzen are put on display.
