Yu Kawakita expresses the textures of nature itself, including water, air, the vital power of plants, the movement of the wind, and human bodies existing within these elements. She used tiles and acrylic paint in the works of her previous exhibition, but this time will exhibit new pieces in which she fixes bright colors onto paper or canvas in forms that resemble flowing rivers. Kawakita is expanding her career since her exhibition at Voca last March.
