A series of colorful acrylic paintings by Yoshikazu Hayashi. Hayashi draws inspiration from the ceramic coaster, where simplified flowers are etched into the surface and covered with an opaque glaze, generating irregular patterns. Experimenting with this kind of mathematical beauty, Hayashi avoids the use of concrete shapes in his artwork and focuses on the existence of “something” rather than the expression of “nothing.”
