Displaying and selling salmon dolls made out of decorated white cloth by Tohoku natives and others involved in this project sponsored by the Textile Design Association of Japan. Participants can buy materials to make a set of three fish for 600 yen and determine their own selling prices. The proceeds will be donated to Tohoku. This project is inspired by the hope that like salmon, people displaced by the Great East Japan Earthquake can someday return to their homes.
