“The scenery that we observe around us is just one moment, one small part of the constantly changing world” reflects Chihiro Murata, whilst she soaks an already dyed cloth in water. The undefined shapes which appear embody the uncertain nature of the world. As a dyeing and weaving artist, Murata explores the possibilities of expression or representation in painting.
