With a focus upon the theme of “perforations” Yuka Shigeta continues to work across a wide range of media including painting, print making and sculpture sharing a sense of the part seen, part unseen, which perhaps resists the current trends of artists directly tackling the social issues around them, but reveals a subtlety which may be widely appreciated.
