Since her school days Hideko Asai held a strong interest in doll making and through her encounter with Komao Hayashi she became an instructor in this traditional craft form, presenting work in numerous exhibitions of Japanese traditional crafts. This exhibitions features 30 examples of her dolls each embodying the subtleties of contemporary tastes.
