The Sengoku period was a period in Japanese history marked by social upheaval, political intrigue and near-constant military conflict that spanned over 100 years from 1467 to 1573. There was an introduction of firearms, and rapid improvements in war tactics and technologies. The period culminated with a series of three warlords, Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, who gradually unified Japan.
Materials and data relating to this period of war and peace are exhibited.
