From Eroica with Love, Sons of Eve, Royal Castle Alcazar, Brother Falco… from serious historical romances to action comedies studded with beautiful men, Yasuko Aoike is a ground breaking manga artist who has produced a diverse body of shojo (girls) manga. The Kyoto International Manga Museum presents an exhibition celebrating Aoike’s 50th year as a manga artist in full appreciation of the world of beautiful artwork she has created. This is Aoike’s first large-scale solo exhibition and will showcase over 300 original works of art.
