When the brush is placed on a cool screen with water, a color spreads over the whole surface. Miho Shimoguchi pursues the shapes that appear and change form, and focuses on the things that lie just ahead. When the moment is right, she grasps a small fragment of light in the palm of her hand. In this way, fragments are collected, and Shimoguchi’s artwork is created.
