Introducing the works of Japan’s top jewelry designers and artists and their students. A total of 49 people, including both instructors and students from 13 Japanese art universities, present works that demonstrate how the skill and creativity of experts has been passed down to and reshaped by the next generation. Visitors can also get a glimpse of how jewelry of various genres including metalwork, textiles, and glass art is being taught and understood at Japanese places of higher learning. This show illustrates the present of Japanese jewelry with insights into its future.
