This event has ended.

Junzo Yoshimura(1908-1997) was an architect who captured the essence Japan’s wood work culture while innovating it towards the contemporary age, a pursuit exemplified by his work of Sanrizuka Church and other wooden dwellings. This exhibition traces his career, through sketches, photographs, plans and texts, from his early travels across Japan, Korea and China, to his work for the Czech architect Antonin Raymond and subsequent leaps made in his own independent practice.
