This event has ended.

Planned by the artist and Aichi University of the Arts professor Nobuyuki Osaki, this exhibition presents a selection of works by five artists who are current students or graduates of the university’s oil painting department, including Masayuki Arai, a 2011 graduate featured at the 2013 Aichi Triennale, as well as Narumi Tanaka, Yuri Sugiura, Yuri Miura, and Asaka Yamaguchi. Their works reflect on Aichi Prefecture, located in the heart of Japan, and contemplate the idea of “perspective” in artistic expression. Ranging from paintings, to prints, to installation art, these pieces represent a variety of genres and careers practiced by the young artists, offering a glimpse into Aichi as an emerging art scene. Lagrangian points refer to the five points of equilibrilized force in the solar system. This show highlights the wonders of art in Aichi Prefecture through the perspective of the evolving talents of five artists.
