“How is this connected to that?” is a question the artist often asks when works of art change according to series or motif. This exhibition displays several large works created over a roughly six-year period from when the artist was in university and now. The works are accompanied by text explaining the artist’s thoughts at the times they were made, which may shed light on the titular question. While the exhibition is more of a monologue by the artist than an exercise in objectivity, this monologue may offer a glimpse into the processes of how the displayed works become different from one another and how previous works have given rise to new ones.
