Takahiko Hayashi has lived in a whirl of painting shapes for almost 30 years. The countlessly repeated lines appear to be the same but extend outwards, restricting their return to the same coordinates. Unrepresentative of people, faces, or things, perhaps this is most descriptive of our current times.
