This event has ended.

Beginning its run on the weekly Shonen Champion in 1973, Black Jack, known as the quintessential medical manga series ― where author Tezuka Osamu poured his knowledge of being a holder of a medical degree (M.D.) ― still is widely read and loved by so many even after 40 plus years. And of course that is not an exception among practicing doctors as well. This exhibition, here at the Kyoto International Manga Museum, has been curated to showcase those doctors’ thoughts and feelings, along with memorable scenes from Black Jack.
