Clothing, Food, Shelter and Songs: Born of the Forest
Gallery Yolcha
This event has ended.
The Kunisaki Peninsula in Kyushu is home to Katherina Forest, a little forest in a small town where the musician baobab creates music in an old farmhouse with a traditional instrument research center. This place is the source of his clothing, food, and shelter, and his music is born from his life here. This exhibition introduces baobab’s music, instrument-making techniques, and the scenery of his daily life. There will be special listening sessions of moon◎room sounds with music by Kyosuke Uchida and a display by Nishionaka on Tuesdays only.
