Widely known as a contemporary artist who painted pictures of shadows, Jiro Takamatsu (1936-1998) also made works on paper on a daily basis. This chronologically arranged exhibition centers on approximately 300 of these pieces, while looking back at the various series that made up Takamatsu’s practice. It also includes completed works, book designs, and documentary photographs.
