Himeji, Past and Present, Part II
Hyogo Prefectural Museum of History
This event has ended.
This exhibition reflects upon the diverse history and culture of Himeji over the years up to today, using the Museum’s own collections, particularly the famed Hideyoshi Takahashi collection, which is noted for its wealth of materials from the recent past. We would like to introduce visitors to the joys of directly interacting with local history. As a sequel to the popular last exhibition in this project, which ran from January through February 2010, this exhibition features a number of materials from the Showa era to the present, and provides a venue for interacting among three generations of your family through time travel in Himeji.
